As a podiatrist, your focus is on giving your patients the best treatment available for all their foot and ankle disorders. It can be frustrating when you have to spend an inordinate amount of time on administrative issues revolving around claim processing and cash flow. At the summer meeting of the Institute for Podiatric Excellence (IPED), we’re bringing in Tim Warren of Obsurvus Solutions to help navigate the sometimes rough waters of revenue cycle management. Warren will cover such issues as:
· Making the transition to ICD-10 coding
· Creating clean claims for faster reimbursement
· Dealing with rejected/denied claims
· Maintaining control of your accounts receivable
· Common mistakes and how to avoid them
The summer meeting will also offer valuable information on a host of other topics including human resources, patient satisfaction and care, HIPAA compliance, building and sustaining your practice, marketing strategies, effective patient communication and more. In addition, you’ll have time to meet and share experiences with other professionals in the field of podiatric medicine and view the latest podiatric equipment and products from trusted vendors.
