Dr. Ryan D’Amico completed his undergraduate studies at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. He then attended Podiatry School at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine for 4 years, moving on to complete his 3 year residency at Western Reserve Care System from 2007 to 2010, where he specialized in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. D'Amico recently began his private practice and has seen tremendous growth through the aid of many of the IPED board members. He also serves the community by volunteering at the Rescue Mission as the attending physician for allopathic medical students who run a clinic named "Helping Hands for Forgotten Feet" monthly in his home town of Syracuse, NY. He looks forward to helping new practitioners start and grow by sharing his experiences and knowledge of practice management.


Dr. Craig B. Frey completed his undergraduate studies at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA. He the earned his Podiatric Medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric medicine, prior to completing his 3 year surgical resident program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Mercy Health in Cleveland, OH.He has since opened up his own practice, with his IPED member and speaker wife Dr. Megan L. Oltmann, in Solon, OH.

Dr. Frey serves as an adjunct faculty member at Kent State University’s Podiatric Medical School. In podiatry school, he served as President of the school’s academic fraternity and served on the board of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Student Association. He currently lectures at regional medical conferences and symposiums.

Dr. Frey is still heavily involved in his community. He serves as an ex-officio Trustee on the Board of Trustees at his Alma Mater, Gilmour Academy. He is also co-president of the Alumni Association at Gilmour Academy. He was recently elected into the Gilmour Academy Hall of Fame in 2014.

Dr. Frey has a large focus on the treatment of athletes, with an extensive athletic background. While attending Washington and Jefferson College, he played and served as captain of the collegiate hockey team. He was a member of the Team USA World Inline Hockey Team, winning both a gold and silver medal.

Raised in Orem, Utah, Dr. Jaramillo DPM, graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA. During his time as a student, he was active in the American Podiatric Medical Students’ Association where he served as the chair of the Education Committee. While in school he received multiple merit-based scholarships. He is also a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society.

Dr. Jaramillo completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. There he received comprehensive training in all areas of foot and ankle surgery and served as a chief resident during his final year of residency.

​He believes that he has an obligation to educate patients on their conditions and ensure that the patients are actively involved in their own care. It is important to him to be able to provide all of his patients with proper conservative and surgical treatment options.

Dr. Jaramillo is excited to be back in Utah with his family. He loves spending time with his family and also enjoys ice hockey as it has been an integral part of his life since his childhood


Dr. David Kretch was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended the Ohio State University, graduating cum laude with a BA in Psychology. After undergrad, he went to podiatry school at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his surgical training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where he served as Chief Resident.  After residency, he stayed in the Windy City and accepted a position as an associate at Affiliated Podiatrists, Ltd. He has been active in helping with IPED since its inception and currently serves as the Board Secretary as well as the adviser to the first IPED student chapter at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.


After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences, Dr. Laurino graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed two years of surgical residency at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration Medical Center and went on to become a board certified expert in podiatric medicine and surgery.

Dr. Laurino found his home and niche with the Advanced Foot & Ankle Specialists of Arizona in 2002 and hasn't looked in the rear view mirror since. He helped his practice double in size in 4 years, and then helped it double again in size 5 years after that. Dr. Laurino has a strong interest in business development, strategy, optimization, marketing, and overall stringent practice management.

He now resides in Tempe, with his wife, Katie, and two children. When this practiced foot professional isn't caring for your foot or ankle pain, or working on the business you can find him outdoors, scuba diving, golfing, cycling, hiking, or snow-boarding.

Christopher J. Mullin, DPM, FACFAS, is a doctor of podiatric medicine specializing in nerve decompression surgery as a treatment for diabetic neuropathy. Dr. Mullin is an integral member of the compassionate team at Central Jersey Ankle & Foot Care Specialists with an office conveniently located in Aberdeen, New Jersey. In 1996, Dr. Mullin obtained his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. Dr. Mullin continued his education and training by completing a two-year residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. His skill set was honed by completing rotations in foot and ankle


Dr. Ornstein is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons Group, LLC and President and Chief Executive Officer of Podiatric Super Group Management, LLC. In addition, he is Consulting Editor for Podiatry Management Magazine and Faculty Coordinator of the four-year practice management course at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM), and served as Immediate Past Chairman of American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM). He is a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies, has given over 250 presentations internationally and has written, along with having been interviewed for over 300 articles on topics pertinent to practice management and serves as consultant for array of companies in the podiatry community. Dr. Ornstein was very proud to create The Ornstein Family Foundation to drive his purpose in life, to give as much as he can to as many as he can. He also serves on the Alumni Board of KSUCPM and in 2011, was inducted into the institution’s Hall of Fame. In 2009, he was honored to receive induction to the Podiatric Hall of Fame and received the Podiatry Management Magazine Lifetime Achievement Award. He is co-author of a multidisciplinary management text entitled 31 1/2 Essential Tips for Practice Management Success, a Greenbranch publication. He dedicates his life to carrying out his personal mission statement; “Every Day is an Opportunity to Create and Share Miles of Smiles”, and works to help others alter their paradigm to demonstrate that “Life Just Gets Better” by encouraging definition and achievement of success. Dr. Ornstein has been in private practice for over twenty-five years and currently serves as Medical Director of Affiliated Foot and Ankle Center, LLP with an office in Howell, New Jersey where he currently resides. He actively participates in local non-profit community run programs as well as national programs such as Yoga Gangsters, a Miami-based national non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth by addressing the symptoms of trauma and poverty using the practice of yoga.


Dr Phan graduated from Rutgers University, (Dean’s list), and obtained his medical degree from Kent State University. He did his three years residency at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY covering both podiatric and orthopedic services at a regional trauma center. Dr Phan has served as a board member for the Institute of Podiatric Excellence and Development. He is an active member of the NJPMS, APMA, and the Rutgers University Alumni Association. In his spare time, he likes to travel, cook, read, and work on cars.


Dr. Paicos is a native of Massachusetts, a second generation Podiatrist (his father retired at the age of 90). He was a graduate of the charter class of Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 1986. His residency training was completed at West Roxbury VAMC, followed by a clinical Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following his postgraduate training he founded Affiliates in Foot Care, PC and was the President and CEO from 1990 until May of 2015. During his clinical practice he achieved Board certification from both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (1992) and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (1995). His passion for limb preservation focused his career with hospital based relationship including Associate Medical Director for Winchester Hospital's Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center, a relationship he enjoyed for close to fifteen years. He served as Service Chief of Foot Surgery at Winchester Hospital 2008-2105. Currently he is the Chief Medical Officer for the New Jersey Podiatric Physicians & Surgeons Group, LLC - a twenty group practice with thirty eight physicians.

Politically, as a medical student he served as a delegate in the American Podiatric Medical Students Association, serving as chairman his senior year. The following evolution into local state activities was a predictable course. He served on the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society from 1994-2007, acting as President from 2004-2006. During that time period he also represented Massachusetts at the American Podiatric Medical Association House of Delegates for many terms. Additionally, Dr. Paicos has served on numerous committees and has held various appointments in both the state society, hospitals as well as within the insurance industry.

He resides in the coastal community of Newbury, Massachusetts where he serves on the town's Planning Board and Master Plan Committee.


Having grown up along the sun-soaked east coast of Florida, Dr. Schweibish (or “Dr. Dave” as he’s known more commonly known to his patients) was eventually forced to set aside his fishing pole to pursue his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Florida and a master of business administration with a focus on organizational behavior at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. Accompanied by his then-fiancée, Dariya, the pair continued their education in Chicago, Illinois where they each earned a doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. After four years in the Windy City and a wedding, they both relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to complete their surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. 

Dr. Schweibish now practices with his wife in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an active member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He also serves proudly as a mentor and liaison with the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine.


Prior to opening his private practice in 2000, Dr. Silverstein received an education from Syracuse University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. With hopes of becoming a podiatrist, he continued his education at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his surgical residency training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dr. Silverstein is the Division Head of the Podiatry Section, Department of Surgery at Harford Memorial Hospital, and he's board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Well-known throughout the area, he's also had his work published and frequently lectures at various hospitals and local community organizations.

Though he's committed to tailoring his services to the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Silverstein enjoys spending time outside of the practice. He is married with two children and enjoys running, fishing, and camping with his family.


Dr. Wenzel grew up in Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she obtained a BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. After working for a year in the laboratory of Scottsdale Healthcare as a generalist, she matriculated at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL and earned her DPM in 2007.

Following medical school, she completed a three year medical and surgical residency program at Forum Health/WRCS in Youngstown, OH. As a third year resident, Dr. Wenzel served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Wenzel is an active member of several podiatric organizations. She serves as Chair of the Insurance Committee, the CAC/PIAC Representative and the Washington L&I Representative for The Washington State Podiatric Medical Association. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics and a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine. She is also Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
