The Institute of Podiatric Excellence and Development (IPED) was created in August 2015 with ideology that the group would belong to its members and the members would become resources for each other. It was designed to motivate, inspire and synergistically bridge the gap between the podiatry student and the veteran practitioner.

IPED’s primary goal is to provide its members with the essential tools to help them succeed at every stage of their careers. Mentoring, personal contact, and providing a forum for members to exchange ideas, ask questions and get answers are the cornerstones of IPED.

IPED is guided by its Board of Trustees and an Executive Director and financially and morally supported by its Corporate Advisory Board of participating companies. Essentially, the concept behind our organization is to go back to basics and to share and learn together for the good of the profession.
